Isabelle + Jacob | Outdoor Maternity Session | Lake Bistineau State Park

I met Isabelle and Jacob last summer for their outdoor maternity session shortly before they welcomed their first baby and they were so sweet and easy-going. I loved getting to meet them and take their maternity portraits as they prepared to enter parenthood for the first time, which is always so exciting! Isabelle looked absolutely stunning in her white gown while carrying their baby girl, Sophia. Their neutral outfits complemented the greenery so well and made them the star of the show!

We captured their maternity portraits on a beautiful but mostly overcast summer day, but the clouds decided to part at the perfect time for that golden glow! May is such a great time for outdoor portraits, especially before it gets so hot and humid. Once Sophia arrived in July I got to capture her newborn portraits as well, which I was thrilled about, and she was so tiny and adorable. It really never gets old getting to meet and capture the baby that was once inside, now on the outside; it's so wild and miraculous!
